IRS Update for 2016

October 26, 2015

The IRS has released the updated contribution limits for 2016 and they look almost exactly like the 2015 limits. While we always like to see a steady increase in the limitations, this reflects what has been a relatively low inflation year. Regardless of the size of the increase, it represents an opportunity to begin planning for next year. Remember to carefully consider all of your options; from optimizing the employer match to considering the Roth option, these are all fantastic ways to make sure you are on track for retirement and benefiting from current tax law.
